Details of ITIL Managing Across the Lifecycle online exam
A questionnaire with 10 (ten) multiple choice questions based on a Case Study provided in advance, accompanied by short scenarios to provide context for each additional question.
Each question has 4 possible answers with one worth 5 (five) and the others worth 3 (three), 1 (one) and 0 (zero) respectively. The pass mark for the exam is 35/50 or 70%.
The exam lasts for 120 minutes for candidates who take it in their mother tongue. Candidiates who take the exam in their non-native language have 150 minutes for the exam and may use a dictionary.

To pass the ITIL Managing Across the Lifecycle exam, the student must have completed an accredited course and have the following prerequisites:
- ITIL Foundation (2007 or 2011) or ITIL v2 Foundation certification + plus v3 Foundation Bridge certification;
- 15 credits from the Service Lifecycle or Service Capability training pathway exams.
After having purchased and paid for the exam, they will be asked to send the certificates.
